Centrifugal aerator

Diving centrifugal aerator adopts the direct transmission of motor and impeller, using the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller to disperse the surrounding water to form a low-pressure area to inhale the water flow while creating a vacuum at the inlet of the impeller and inhaling air, in the mixing chamber the gas and water are fully mixed to form a uniform air-water mixture, which is quickly discharged under centrifugal force.
As the water jet is extremely strong, resulting in effective water circulation, so that the air is sheared into a large number of tiny bubbles. The surface area is greatly improved, and the bubbles rise slowly so that a large amount of oxygen in the air is dissolved in the water, making the power efficiency of the machine better than other kinds of aerators.

Jetstream Aerator

The water flow generated by the submersible pump passes through the nozzle to form a high-speed water flow, forming a negative pressure around the nozzle to suck in air, mixing with the water flow through the mixing chamber, producing a water-gas mixture in the flared diffuser tube, and spraying out at high speed. can be adjusted.

 

Working Process

The submersible aerator is composed of a submersible pump, mixing chamber, base, air inlet pipe and silencer.
The upper end of the inlet pipe is the air intake port located above the water surface, and the lower end is connected to the mixing chamber.

 

Aeration principle

Aeration is a means to make strong contact between air and water, and its purpose is to dissolve the oxygen in the air in the water, or to banish unwanted gases and volatile substances in the water to the air. It has several other important roles. The oxygen in the air is transferred to the water through aeration, and the oxygen is transferred from the gas phase to the liquid phase by mass transfer. The theory of diffusion, which has been applied more frequently, is the double film theory proposed by Lewis and Whitman.
The specific approach is to: reduce the size of the bubble, increase the number of bubbles, improve the degree of turbulence in the liquid, increase the installation depth of the aerator, and extend the contact time between the bubble and the liquid. It is based on this approach that aeration equipment is widely used in wastewater treatment.

 

Meet the function

All aeration equipment, should fulfill the following 3 functions. 
To generate and maintain effective air-water contact and to maintain a certain concentration of dissolved oxygen in the water while the biological oxidation is constantly consuming oxygen; 
Generate sufficient mixing and circulation of water in the aeration zone;
Maintaining sufficient velocity of the liquid to keep the biosolids in the water in suspension.

Practical Applications

Rocker type microporous aerators are more often used in primary biochemical systems with heavy production loads and poor sewage water quality because of the advantages of high oxygen utilization and easy maintenance; fixed dynamic aerators are generally used in secondary biochemical systems with low production loads and good sewage water quality because of the characteristics of slightly lower oxygen utilization but can be maintained for a long time and difficult maintenance but long service life.
